What is Everyday Peace?  Does it require years in Tibet?   Or maybe when we are able to finally just live comfortably without struggle?  Is it a destination that we arrive at after years of meditation, struggle and sacrifice?


I can’t tell you exactly, because each person is unique.  But for me, everyday  peace means authentic living: living with a general ease, in my own truth, with an ability to fully experience pain and joy with an open heart.

Everyday peace does not mean trying to by happy all the time.  It just means living authentically and deeply valuing your own wild and crazy existence.

Finding and building your capacity for peace takes effort - just like building a muscle.  The more you practice the more you enjoy it, and the easier it becomes.  Isn’t that great?

So many people are unhappy and are searching for answers.  I have been looking for happiness myself since childhood - trying to find that one thing or combination of things that would take all my worries away.  So, with that passion for finding the key to being happy, I first named this class Happiness Coaching.  However, we all noticed that trying be happy all the time is not really the answer.  Sometimes, you need to feel sorrow and feel pain to feel human.  Gratitude is part of it, but really only a tool to find more value in your life.   When we see our lives as valuable, it becomes easier to actively seek peace.
